Quantum Law Group Founding Partner Peyman Cohan Recognized in 2027 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America®

Quantum Law Group is pleased to announce that founding partner Peyman Cohan has been recognized in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for Trusts and Estates. This marks Cohan’s second consecutive year of recognition by Best Lawyers.

Best Lawyers selections are determined through a peer-review process in which attorneys evaluate the professional abilities of colleagues within the same geographic region and practice area.

Cohan has more than two decades of experience advising executives, professionals, closely held businesses and families on matters involving estate planning, business succession, insurance strategies and the protection and transfer of significant assets.

His work includes developing estate plans designed around a client’s long-term objectives, advising business owners on succession and ownership transitions, and counseling clients regarding life insurance and other financial structures that can play an important role in estate and business planning.

That experience also gives Cohan a valuable perspective when sophisticated planning arrangements later become the subject of disputes. Quantum Law Group has developed substantial experience in matters involving life insurance and premium finance, an area in which understanding the underlying transaction, relationships and financial objectives can be as important as understanding the legal claims.

“Peyman brings tremendous depth to the firm because he understands these issues from both the planning and dispute sides,” said Jonathan Deer, partner at Quantum Law Group. “He takes the time to understand what a client is trying to accomplish and brings practical judgment to complex decisions involving businesses, families and significant assets.”

Cohan earned his J.D. from the University of La Verne School of Law and his B.S. from California State University, Northridge’s College of Business and Economics.
